State Gets Tokens of His Courage. from the Bangor Daily News, ca. 1919 It was just ninety-six years ago Tuesday (Jan. 21) that an event happened in the harbor of Trinidad, Cuba, which reflected great credit on the leader of a bold enterprise, recollections of which have recently been stirred in Maine, on account of the purchase by the state of a brace of pistols and a sword from Mrs. E. Preble of Framingham, Mass…..” And see Charles Liebow notes on the Cashier: - CASHIER: Masters - Samuel Spurling & William Moore, Built in Eden in 1820, 30 Gross Tons, 49.8/17.8/5.3: Two masts with a square stern.
