Photographs. Two framed black-and-white photographs in old, damaged frames. (Frames removed.) Large photograph (8 x 10) (2013.259.1990) is Bert Stanley probably at Spurling Cove with fish houses in background. Smaller photo (a 5 x 7 reprint) (2013.259.1990 B) is Eber Spurling. Spurling ran the first mail boat in the late 1930s. In those days the mail boat ran between GCI, Islesford, and Seal Harbor which meant traversing open ocean in winter.
