Dear Sir: It is important that a communication that I make today to your office, addressed to Benj S. Campbell, should be delivered to him, or to some of his personal representatives, should he not be alive. Will you do me the favor to make some inquiry as to his whereabouts, should he not be there? He was a member of Company "C"1 Me. H. A., and an inquiry among his comrades would probably lead to the needed information. Very respectfully, Walter S. Monteith" .
